2. Bkk Summer Escapade #1

Well after temple sight seeing in the morning, our tour guide was kind enough to get us a free ride to the most happening Weekend Market - Chatuchak
Chatuchak Weekend Market,is very popular shopping centre to Thais and has become a popular place to tourists and foreigners who stay in Bangkok, has over 200,000 visitors each day(SAT-SUN) 30% is foreign. There are almost everything can be found here at a bargaining local price (not a tourist price), and most vendors actually come from local factories, like antique wood carving, clay handicrafts, local souvenirs from every parts of Thailand, Buddhist amulets, wooden funitures, hand made decorated flowers, plant, ceramic wares, dools, Thai Bejarong, Chinese wares, graden decorated plants, stones, trendy fashions, silk, hill-tribe outfits, fluffy dogs and more miscellaneous, etc.
Walking over to the other side where Chatuchak Market is!
Massive traffic all the time! The reason why Tut-tuts is more convenient than taxi in every way!

Mr. Happy :)

Have you seen a Gold Man? Silver Man? Now i show you the White Man!

We were rushing and didn't do well on the money exchange part. Hence we were looking for money exchange everywhere when we were in Bangkok. All the rates in Bangkok airport and shopping mall were too low, we managed to get an average at Chatuchak Market. Lucky yes?
They have Angry Bird Debit Card in Bangkok. So cute!

We couldn't stand walking under the freaking hot weather, then just right in time we found this illy cafe inside of Chatuchak Market! Indeed a nice place to chill, with some cool beer and juice! Asahi & Singha for our hot afternoon!

They have this Super Chio DJ spinning! Cool aight?! :P
Tied up my nicely curled hair! Sister said it looks like a flower!? ;)

& this each cute funky pairs of specs cost us 50 baht only! damn cheap! we got us 5 pairs in total! hehe

Do you like mine?

How can you miss out the awesome street food!!!!
Fish ball, pork ball, meat pork?! with super sweet thai sauce
Thailand ice cream with varieties of Thailand side toppings
Some Cooling ice stick?

One of the best food i ate for my entire Bangkok trip, boat noodle. It looked horrible when we first walked pass. We were curious why the hell that many people queuing, waiting just to eat this boat noodle. It looked so 'dirty' with the dark brown oily soup just next to the walking street. However you will never know great does it tastes!

Now i know why good things keep for those who wait! Just a simple noodles like this, everyone is willing to wait for it.
Those raw meat for the noodles
Must try if you happen to visit Chatuchak Market!
But the portion is so small, definitely not enough for single person.

Got us some cute pouch for next morning trip at Floating market. We aint gonna carrying our big bags around, that's way too troublesome! Anyway those cute bags just cost use 100 baht! How cheap!?

Till then, we left Chatuchak Market around 4ish to the Wholesale paradise - Platinum Mall!
The one and only picture taken in Platinum Mall, was too busy for clothes hunting! We even got ourself an extra roller luggage just to keep all out purchases! Happy Shopping!

Before we call it a day, left to MBK Mall for some gadgets and phone casing hunt. Had our dinner there as well, Light Thai Steamboat!

Our tired face!
Her Hungry Face! hahaSharing my traveling essential that keep my trip going without my eyes feeling sore and comfortable all day long with my contact lens! Rohto Lycée Eye drop, i got from Japan!

Next up for my Bkk Summer Escape will be Damnoen Saduak Floating Market located 100 kilometers away from the city. Not forgetting our Elephant Ride! Stay tuned for the next post! Goodnight all!
